The Crescent Theater will host the 2014 Student Film Showcase, giving area student filmmakers a chance to see their work on the big screen in downtown Mobile.
The showcase takes place Saturday, April 12, with screenings at noon and 4 p.m. Admission is $5.
Student filmmakers from both colleges and high schools submitted films for the event, which coincides with the Arts Alive Festival. The Crescent, a longtime downtown Mobile cinema, provides a venue where emerging talent can share original short films with a live audience.
Screenings are scheduled for 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. inside the Crescent Theater on Dauphin Street.
