GULF SHORES, Ala. — Local businesses across southern Baldwin County are joining forces for a new charity event: the Local Pour Tour ’26.
The one-day pub crawl will take participants to four stops in Gulf Shores, with a local radio station also taking part. Proceeds will benefit Lee Charities, a Foley-based nonprofit that supports organizations throughout Baldwin County.
The Schedule
The event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026. Check-in at American Legion Post 44 in Gulf Shores runs from 11 a.m. to noon, where participants will receive an event T-shirt, wristband and koozie.
From there the tour moves to The Galley on the River from noon to 2 p.m., then to Bier Shack Taproom from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by Scuttlebutt Pub from 4 to 6 p.m.
Participants return to American Legion Post 44 at 6 p.m. for the wrap party, which includes live music and prize drawings. The full event runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Prizes
All registered Local Pour Tour participants are eligible for the drawings, which organizers say will take place at the start of the wrap party.
Prizes include an autographed Luke Combs guitar and an autographed Kenny Chesney item described as a “Silver Sands Marina” album. Gift baskets from Scuttlebutt, The Galley on the River and Bier Shack Taproom are also planned. Organizers say additional prizes may be added before the event.
Scheduling the drawings at the start of the wrap party rather than the end is a practical choice — it rewards participants who complete the route without requiring them to wait out the entire evening to find out whether they won.
Tickets
Tickets are $30 plus a 75-cent service fee, and include the T-shirt, koozie and wristband. Ticket sales for the main event end Sept. 16 at 10 p.m.
The advance cutoff, 10 days before the event, allows organizers to finalize merchandise counts and venue headcounts — a necessity when four separate businesses are each hosting the full group for a two-hour block.
The Shuttle
Coast Cab is offering a $20 shuttle day pass for those who want to skip driving between stops.
The first shuttles are scheduled to depart from American Legion Post 44 at 11:30 a.m., follow the event route, and then return for the wrap party. The shuttle serves The Galley on the River, Bier Shack Taproom and Scuttlebutt Pub before returning to the American Legion. Shuttle riders receive a Coast Cab wristband at check-in. Shuttle-pass sales end Sept. 16 at 7:03 p.m.
Building transportation into the ticket structure is the responsible design choice for an event of this format, and at $20 for the full day it is priced well below what four separate rides would cost. Participants who do not buy the pass should arrange a designated driver or rideshare in advance rather than at the end of the evening.
Where the Money Goes
Lee Charities partners with more than 40 nonprofit organizations across Baldwin County.
The Foley-based nonprofit reports investing more than $1 million of its own funds directly into local nonprofits, and says it has helped raise more than $2 million for local organizations.
That intermediary structure is what distinguishes the event from a single-beneficiary fundraiser. Rather than supporting one organization, funds raised through the Local Pour Tour will be distributed across Lee Charities’ partner network — spreading the proceeds among organizations that individually lack the capacity to run an event of this size.
The Community Angle
Organizers describe the event as an opportunity for locals to meet neighbors and support the community — a September date that falls after the summer tourist peak, when Gulf Shores businesses are serving a more local crowd.
