Skyline Lanes on Government Boulevard offered a free game of bowling in 2018 to people who brought in a bag of Mardi Gras beads, according to a WKRG report.

General Manager Kevin Pocase said the idea recognized that many residents would have piles of beads after Fat Tuesday. He said customers did not need to bring a large bag for the exchange.
