A Mobile woman is facing charges after police say she stabbed a man Wednesday afternoon at the Coastal Pointe Apartments, leaving him with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Officers responded to the complex in the 600 block of Azalea Road around 3:46 p.m. and found the victim, who was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Alison Marie Matrice Merlin Talifero, 19, was arrested at the scene and charged with second-degree domestic violence and second-degree assault, according to the Mobile Police Department. She was booked into Mobile County Metro Jail following the incident.
In a separate incident the same evening, two juvenile males allegedly fired shots at an occupied vehicle at the Hounds Run Apartments on Sperry Road. Police said officers arrived around 5:25 p.m. and determined the person inside the car knew the alleged shooters. No one was injured in the shooting.
Both juveniles were arrested and taken to Mobile County Metro Jail, where they were charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle. Both cases remain under investigation.
