ORANGE BEACH, Ala. — Shoppers can start their Sunday with a stretch by the water and finish it with a basket full of local goods as the Orange Beach Pop-Up Farmers Market returns for its Fall Edition on Sunday, Oct. 18. The free market runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Waterfront Park, preceded by a free community yoga class at 9 a.m.

Hosted by the Orange Beach Parks & Recreation Department, the market brings together a curated mix of farmers, growers and value-added vendors in a single waterfront setting. The event is open to the public.

Yoga With a View Kicks Off the Morning

An hour before the vendors open, Parks & Recreation will host Community Yoga with a View at Waterfront Park. Karen of Wolf Bay will lead the class, which starts at 9 a.m.

All skill levels are welcome, and no registration is required. The session is designed to help participants stretch, breathe and unwind while taking in the coastal scenery along the waterfront.

Participants should bring a yoga mat, water and comfortable clothing. A limited number of mats will be available for those who do not have one.

The schedule is intentional. When the class wraps up at 10 a.m., participants can walk straight into the farmers market, creating a seamless transition from yoga to shopping.

The Fall Edition market offers fresh produce, homemade goods and seasonal treats in a relaxed outdoor atmosphere. Shoppers can browse and buy locally grown produce and other products from a range of regional vendors.

Getting There and Parking

Residents are encouraged to arrive by golf cart, a popular way to get around Orange Beach. For those coming by car, parking is available throughout Waterfront Park, at the Orange Beach Library and at the Orange Beach Senior Center.

Because Waterfront Park is home to both the yoga class and the market, visitors who plan to attend both events can park once and spend the morning on site.

Rain Plan

Organizers want attendees to know the market will go on regardless of the forecast. If weather becomes a problem, the event will move indoors to the Orange Beach Community Center at 27235 Canal Road.

Shoppers who see clouds on Sunday morning may want to check the city’s Parks & Recreation channels before heading out to confirm which location is in use.

Why It Matters for Orange Beach

Pop-up markets like this one give residents a convenient way to buy directly from the people who grow and make their food and goods. Spending at the market supports small producers and businesses from around the region.

Pairing the market with a free yoga class also turns a shopping trip into a community morning outdoors, at no cost to residents. For Orange Beach families looking for something to do on a fall Sunday, Waterfront Park offers fresh air, fresh food and a chance to meet the vendors behind the products.
