The Senior Bowl Wants Your Kid on the Field This Fall — Registration Just Opened for Its Youth Flag Football League

James Bullard, July 15, 2026

Registration is now open for the Senior Bowl’s 2026 FLAG Football League, a youth flag football program for boys and girls ages 7 to 12 that will run games at the University of South Alabama’s Intramural Fields this fall.

Registration began July 14 and runs through Sept. 14, with three age divisions available: 8U, 10U and 12U. The season kicks off with a camp on Sept. 14 at USA’s Jaguars Training Center, before games move to the university’s intramural fields for the remainder of the schedule. The season culminates with the annual Turkey Bowl championship game on Nov. 22 at USA’s Hancock Whitney Stadium, with participants determined by top division standings throughout the season.

“The Senior Bowl’s NFL FLAG League is another way we are able to invest in the youth of our community,” said Senior Bowl Executive Director Drew Fabianich. “Our goal is to provide a fun, inclusive environment where every child can build confidence, develop valuable life skills, and experience the joy of the game.”

Organizers describe the league as focused on football fundamentals alongside broader life-skills goals: teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship and confidence-building for young players regardless of prior football experience. Spots are limited, and registration along with additional program information is available through the NFL FLAG Football League website.
