Semmes residents mourned after a 16-year-old pedestrian died following a crash on McCrary Road in December 2007, according to an archived WKRG report.
The teen was walking with a friend when he was struck by a motor home. He was taken to USA Medical Center and later died. The friend escaped injury but was in shock, the report said.
State troopers had not filed charges at the time. The report said they were examining whether alcohol may have been involved.
