Campbell: ‘We’ve Got to Do Much Better’
South Alabama head coach Steve Campbell said his team struggled to generate offense until late in the game.
“We didn’t get much going at all early, until the fourth quarter,” Campbell said. “We’ve got to look at what we need to do. … We’ve got to do much better, but Appalachian State is a good football team.”
Asked whether he would change quarterbacks, Campbell did not commit to a decision.
“We’ll see,” he said. “We’ve definitely got to move the ball better. Desmond will have an opportunity.”
“We need to do something to try to move the football,” Campbell said.
