Ivey Orders Closure of Gyms, Salons and Other ‘Non-Essential’ Businesses Statewide
Gov. Kay Ivey ordered gyms, theaters, barbershops and other close-contact businesses statewide to close beginning March 28, a sweeping new step that stops short of a full shelter-in-place order.
