Thomasville Cuts Chronic Absenteeism by 63%, Recovering an Estimated 22,665 Instructional Hours
Thomasville City Schools cut chronic absenteeism from 20.1% to 7.5% over two years, recovering roughly 22,665 instructional hours district-wide in 2025-26, attendance director Kate Huggins told the board.
