LOXLEY, Ala. — A teenager who became ill in class at a Loxley-area school Friday was taken to a hospital by ambulance after what authorities described as a THC overdose.

The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office, an area fire department and an ambulance responded to C.F. Taylor Alternative School, according to authorities. The teen was treated at an area hospital and sent home soon afterward, authorities said.

Because of the student’s age, no other information is being released.
