Mobile Police investigated the shooting death of a 53-year-old man on Dartmoor Lane in West Mobile in May 2008, according to an archived WKRG report.
Police responded just before 1 a.m. to the 600 block of Dartmoor Lane, near Cottage Hill and University Boulevard. The man was taken to USA Medical Center, where he later died.
Investigators said they were still working to determine a motive and identify the person responsible. The original report included a request for information, which was a time-limited 2008 notice and is not reproduced as a current alert.
