MOBILE, Ala. — A man riding his bicycle before dawn Monday lost his bike to an armed robbery after a truck forced him off the road, according to the Mobile Police Department.
Officers were called to San Marino Drive shortly before 12:45 a.m. on May 22, 2023, on a report of a robbery. Investigators determined the victim had been cycling on Hamilton Boulevard when the driver of a truck ran him off the road.
Police said a female passenger then pulled out a gun and forced the man to load his bicycle into the bed of the truck. The two suspects drove away with the bike.
Police said the two suspects drove away with the bike, and the case remained under investigation as an armed robbery.
