Evergreen Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 83 in Conecuh County

A 65-year-old Evergreen man has died following a two-vehicle crash in Conecuh County on Alabama Highway 83. The Conecuh County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Bobby McNeil.

According to officials, McNeil’s SUV collided head-on with a pickup truck at approximately 2:55 p.m. on July 18, roughly 10 miles north of the Evergreen city limits. McNeil was transported to Evergreen Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and the Conecuh County Coroner’s Office are continuing to investigate the crash. Officials have not released information regarding the condition of the other driver involved, and no additional details have been made public while the investigation remains open.
