ORANGE BEACH, Ala. — Riley Green is taking his new album on the road in 2027, and Alabama fans will get one hometown-state show: a June 4 concert at The Wharf Amphitheater in Orange Beach.
The country singer and former Jacksonville State University quarterback announced his “That’s Just Me Tour” following the Sept. 18 release of his latest album, “That’s Just Me.” Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. local time Tuesday.

Moving the chains
Green has kept his momentum going since the album’s release. “That’s Just Me” has already produced two Top 40 country hits: the title track and “Think As You Drunk.”
The album is his latest project with producer Dan Huff. Huff built a career as a pop and rock session guitarist, playing on records for artists such as Madonna, Whitesnake and Bob Seger, before becoming one of Nashville’s most in-demand producers, working with stars including Faith Hill and Taylor Swift.
An Alabama story
Green is a native of Jacksonville, Alabama, in the northeast part of the state. Before music became his full-time career, he played quarterback at Jacksonville State University. His songs often draw on small-town Southern life, family and faith, themes that have helped him build a loyal following across the South.
Some of his biggest songs also carry an Alabama connection. His two most-streamed songs are duets with fellow Alabama native Ella Langley: “You Look Like You Love Me,” with about 446 million streams, and “Don’t Mind If I Do,” with about 281 million. His best-known solo song, “Worst Way,” has nearly 497 million streams.
Why The Wharf
The Wharf Amphitheater in Orange Beach is one of the Gulf Coast’s best-known concert venues. The open-air amphitheater sits along the Intracoastal Waterway at The Wharf, a waterfront shopping, dining and entertainment district in Orange Beach, and it draws fans from across Alabama, Mississippi and the Florida Panhandle. Its season typically features major country, rock and pop acts, with summer shows that let fans pair a concert with a trip to the beach.

The opening acts
The tour’s lineup of support acts gives fans plenty of country music in one night, though specific openers for individual dates, including Orange Beach, were not detailed in the announcement:
- Muscadine Bloodline: The country duo of Gary Stanton and Charlie Muncaster, both from the Mobile area, is known for its independent path in Nashville.
- Randy Houser: The Mississippi-born singer is known for hits such as “Boots On” and “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight.”
- Jake Worthington: A Texas singer known for his traditional country sound.
- Hannah McFarland: An up-and-coming country singer-songwriter.

Alabama fans have a chance to see Green much sooner. He is headlining Sunday at Rock The South this weekend, the festival’s first year in its new host city of Decatur, Alabama.
