Orange Beach’s longest-standing all-female Mardi Gras krewe is preparing to celebrate a major milestone. The Sirens of the Sea will host the Stars & Stripes Silver Celebration on Thursday, Sept. 11, from 6-10 p.m. at the Orange Beach Event Center, marking both the krewe’s 25th anniversary and the nation’s 250th birthday.
The event will be held at the Orange Beach Event Center, located at 4671 Wharf Parkway W. in Orange Beach, and is open to guests 21 years of age and older. It is a bring-your-own-bottle event.
An Evening of Celebration
Guests attending the Silver Celebration can expect a full evening built around dinner, dessert and dancing, with live entertainment provided by The Groovinators Band. The night will also feature a silent auction and a chance to win a $2,000 Grand door prize, giving attendees several ways to take part in the celebration beyond the meal and music.

Supporting the Community for 25 Years
Proceeds from the Stars & Stripes Silver Celebration will go toward a range of causes the krewe supports throughout the year, including local initiatives, community programs, the Sirens of the Sea Scholarship Fund, and the maintenance of the krewe’s parade float. The funds raised will also help support the Sirens of the Sea’s continued activities in the year ahead.
