About the Senior Bowl
The Senior Bowl brings together senior NFL draft prospects for a week of practices and a game coached by two NFL coaching staffs selected by the league office. According to the Senior Bowl, more than 800 NFL general managers, head coaches, assistant coaches, personnel directors, scouts and other front-office staff from all 32 NFL teams attend Senior Bowl week each year. The participating NFL teams also bring their training, video and equipment staffs to work with the players.
The game was first played in Jacksonville, Fla., in 1950 and has been held in Mobile every year since 1951. It is played at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, which is also South Alabama’s home field.
