South Alabama quarterback Brandon Bridge finished second in the “Air It Out” passing competition at the 2014 Manning Passing Academy, advancing to the final round of a field that included 40 quarterbacks.
The Air It Out contest is a passing competition held for the college quarterbacks who attend the Manning Passing Academy, the summer football camp run by the Manning family. College quarterbacks from around the country take part in the camp each summer.
Bridge Reaches the Final Round
Bridge worked his way through the early rounds of the competition and earned a spot in the finals before placing second overall among the 40 participants.
Preparing for the 2014 Season
The showing came as South Alabama prepares for the 2014 football season. The Jaguars return a group of wide receivers from last season.
South Alabama, coached by Joey Jones, competes in the Sun Belt Conference and plays its home games at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile. The Jaguars’ program began play in 2009.
