Central Baldwin Chamber Award Nominations Open for 2026 Business and Community Honors; Due Nov. 5
The Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations through noon Nov. 5 for eight 2026 business and community awards to be presented Jan. 21 at the Baldwin County Coliseum.
ROBERTSDALE, Ala. — Central Baldwin Chamber award nominations are now open, giving residents and business owners a chance to recognize the people, companies and public servants who have made a difference in their communities this year. Nominations for the chamber’s 2026 Business + Community Annual Awards are due by noon Thursday, Nov. 5.
Winners will be announced and recognized at the Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce annual meeting on Jan. 21, 2027, at the Baldwin County Coliseum in Robertsdale.
Eight categories of recognition
The chamber will present awards in eight categories this year:
- Fell Gilbert Mack Pearson | Founders Award
- Community Impact Award
- Large Business of the Year
- Small Business of the Year
- Emerging Small Business of the Year
- Generations Award
- Good Government Award
- First Responder of the Year Distinguished Service Award
The range of categories reflects the chamber’s dual focus on business and community. Business honors recognize companies of different sizes, including newer firms that are still establishing themselves, while other awards spotlight public service, community involvement and the work of first responders.
How to nominate
Each award has its own criteria, and nominees must meet those criteria to be considered, according to the chamber. Anyone planning to submit a nomination should review the requirements for the specific category before applying and should contact the Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce for nomination details.
Strong nominations generally explain clearly why a business or person deserves recognition, with specific examples of accomplishments, service or community involvement during the year. Because the deadline is midday on Nov. 5, nominators should plan to submit their entries before the morning ends rather than waiting until the last minute.

About the Central Baldwin Chamber
The Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce serves businesses in the central part of Baldwin County, an area that includes Robertsdale and nearby communities such as Loxley, Silverhill and Summerdale. Like other chambers, it promotes local commerce, offers networking and development opportunities for its members and advocates for the business community.
Central Baldwin has seen significant change as Baldwin County’s rapid population growth spreads beyond the coast and the Eastern Shore. New homes, businesses and road projects have reached communities that were once largely agricultural, bringing both opportunities and challenges for local employers and governments.
Annual awards give chambers a way to highlight that growth while honoring the longtime businesses, volunteers and public servants who have helped shape their towns. The annual meeting is typically one of the chamber’s largest gatherings of the year, drawing members, elected officials and community leaders.
The Baldwin County Coliseum
The Baldwin County Coliseum in Robertsdale is a large multipurpose venue that hosts a wide range of shows, banquets and community gatherings. Its central location makes it a convenient meeting place for residents from across the county.
Residents who know a business, government leader, first responder or community champion worthy of recognition have until noon Nov. 5 to make sure that person or organization is considered.
