Downtown Mobile is about to host the largest burlesque event in the city’s history. Camellia Bay Burlesque will produce the inaugural Mobile Burlesque Festival March 22-24, 2019, spreading a three-day program across three different downtown venues.

Organizers have lined up performers from around the world for the debut edition, with acts traveling from as far as Canada and Germany to appear alongside Gulf Coast talent.

Beyond the shows themselves, Camellia Bay Burlesque hopes the festival doubles as an education — introducing audiences to the history and evolution of the art form and presenting entertainment that, in the troupe’s words, features all walks of life and can be enjoyed by visitors from around the world.

Festival details and updates are available through Camellia Bay Burlesque on Facebook and Instagram.
