Keith Urban will launch his next major road run in Mobile. The country superstar’s “Get Closer 2011 World Tour” debuts June 16, 2011, with special guests yet to be announced.
The tour carries an all-new stage production built around Urban’s reputation as one of country music’s most engaging live performers.
“Playing live is what it’s always been about for me,” Urban said in a statement announcing the dates. “It’s creating in the moment, it’s the joy, the electricity, the unexpected… I’m bringing the big boom box and an arsenal of songs and I can’t wait to throw this party.”
The Mobile date gives the Port City first crack at a full summer arena tour before it fans out across the country, with the complete routing and on-sale details posted at Urban’s official site.
