Chocolate lovers around Mobile had a new reason to stop by Krispy Kreme in January 2019, when the chain rolled out its all-new Chocolate Glaze Collection — a chocolatey spin on four of its classic filled doughnuts, available through January 27.
The lineup included the Chocolate Glazed Cake Batter Doughnut, a chocolate doughnut filled with cake batter, glazed and dipped in chocolate and finished with sprinkles; the Chocolate Glazed Raspberry Filled Doughnut, packed with raspberry filling under chocolate glaze and topped with a red icing swirl; the Double Chocolate Glazed Kreme Filled Doughnut, which took the classic iced Kreme-filled favorite up a notch with white Kreme inside and white icing drizzled over the glaze; and the Chocolate Glazed OREO Cookies & KREME Doughnut, filled with cookies-and-Kreme and capped with OREO cookie pieces.
The limited-time collection appeared at Krispy Kreme shops including the Mobile area location, giving local sweet tooths a short window to try the full chocolate lineup before the promotion ended.
