MOBILE, Ala. — Mobile police are investigating an assault that sent a victim to the hospital following a domestic complaint call on the city’s Garland Street on Wednesday.
According to a Mobile Police Department news release, officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Garland Street just before 5 p.m. on July 22 to respond to a report of a domestic complaint.
When officers arrived at the scene, they learned that the victim, who had sustained a minor cut, had already left for the hospital before their arrival. A detective was then sent to the hospital to continue gathering information and pursue the investigation.
Investigation Ongoing
Mobile police have not released additional details about the relationship between the victim and the person or persons believed to be involved, nor have they announced any arrests connected to the incident. The department says the case remains under investigation.
