MOBILE, Ala. — Mobile Police Department officers are investigating an assault that happened during a fight on Luckie Avenue Wednesday night, according to MPD.
According to an MPD news release, officers responded to the 1900 block of Luckie Avenue around 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 5 after a report of an assault.
When officers arrived, they found a man with minor lacerations, according to police. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
MPD said investigators determined that a man the victim knew had cut him during the altercation.
As of Thursday morning, police said the case remained under investigation and no arrest had been made.
