FOLEY, Ala. — Registered voters in Baldwin County Voting Precinct 61 are receiving updated voter information cards after the precinct’s polling place changed its name, though the physical voting location itself has not moved.
Updated cards were mailed the week of July 20 to all registered voters assigned to Precinct 61, according to the Baldwin County Commission. The mailing ensures voter records reflect the polling place’s current name.
The polling location on Brinks Willis Road was formerly known as Pathway Church, which has officially changed its name to Daystar Church. Voters assigned to Precinct 61 will continue to cast their ballots at the same Brinks Willis Road site, county officials said, describing the update as a name change only, with no relocation or address change involved.
The Baldwin County Board of Registrars is handling distribution of the new cards, which every voter in Precinct 61 is expected to receive. Voters with questions about their registration or voting assignment can contact the Alabama Secretary of State’s office for additional election resources.
