Terrezza Optical, the eye care practice serving Northwest Florida and Southeast Alabama with locations including downtown Pensacola and offices in Foley and Fairhope, planned a special Valentine’s Day giveaway in 2020 for residents who needed vision help.
On February 14, 2020, the practice offered free eye examinations along with eyeglasses as part of its “Doctors with a Heart” event, aimed at people who are visually impaired or otherwise lack access to routine vision care.
The offer carried a few ground rules: no vision insurance was required, but only one patient per household could take advantage, and appointments were required in advance — walk-ins were not accepted. Organizers urged anyone interested to call ahead and reserve a time slot.
Events like this one give uninsured and underinsured residents across the Gulf Coast a chance to get an exam and a working pair of glasses at no cost, from a practice with deep roots on both sides of the state line.
