Third-Seeded South Alabama Visits Western Kentucky to Open Final Week of Regular Season

South Alabama, already locked into the No. 3 seed for the Sun Belt Tournament, visits Western Kentucky at E.A. Diddle Arena riding an 8-2 stretch.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — South Alabama basketball has already clinched the No. 3 seed for the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, but the Jaguars have two regular-season games left, starting Thursday night at Western Kentucky’s E.A. Diddle Arena.

South Alabama is 16-10 overall and 13-5 in Sun Belt play and has won eight of its last 10 games. Western Kentucky is 15-14 overall and 9-9 in the conference.

Series History

South Alabama leads the all-time series with Western Kentucky 33-29 but is 11-16 in games played in Bowling Green. The Jaguars have won the last two meetings, dating to last season.
