The University of South Alabama cheerleading squad is making history this weekend, competing in the UCA College Nationals at the Walt Disney World Resort for the first time.
The team announced it will compete in game-day finals in the Division IA all-girl category, according to a post from South Alabama Cheerleading.
South performs at 8 a.m. Central on Saturday, Jan. 14, during the cheerleading and dance team semifinal national championship competition. Finals are set for Sunday, Jan. 15, with final awards beginning at 8:30 p.m. Central.
Fans can watch the Jaguar cheerleaders live as they compete on the national stage.
