MOBILE, Ala. — South Alabama head football coach Joey Jones will introduce the Jaguars’ 2012 signing class at a Signing Day social on Wednesday, Feb. 1, in the John Counts Room at the Mitchell Center on the University of South Alabama campus.
The event, hosted by the South Alabama athletics department, is free and open to the public. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.
Schedule of Events
- 4:30 p.m.: Doors open in the John Counts Room.
- 5 p.m.: Meet and greet with Jones and his coaching staff.
- 5:30 p.m.: Jones speaks and presents a video introducing the players who have signed national letters of intent with South Alabama, followed by a question-and-answer session.
- 6:15 p.m.: Event ends.
Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served, and a cash bar will be available.
National Signing Day
Feb. 1 is the first day high school prospects may sign national letters of intent. The incoming class will join the program as it prepares for the 2012 season.
