South Alabama Homecoming Weekend Features Wall of Honor, Parade and FAU Game

South Alabama's homecoming weekend includes a Wall of Honor mural unveiling, parade, pep rally and fireworks Friday, followed by a 2:30 p.m. game against Florida Atlantic on Saturday at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.

MOBILE, Ala. — South Alabama will celebrate homecoming with events on campus Friday and a football game against Florida Atlantic on Saturday at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.

Friday Events

Individual colleges will hold alumni gatherings beginning around 3:30 p.m. At 5:30 p.m., the university will unveil its Wall of Honor mural at Moulton Tower.

The mural dedication will be followed by the homecoming parade and a pep rally featuring the USA Jaguar Marching Band and head coach Joey Jones, along with fireworks. The Jag Jam birthday bash will be held at the Mitchell Center.

Game Day

Parking lots open at 8 a.m. Saturday for tailgating. The Jaguar Prowl will take place on the south side of the stadium shortly after noon. Stadium gates open at 12:30 p.m., and kickoff against FAU is set for 2:30 p.m.

Tickets are available for as little as $10.

Parking and Shuttles

Parking at the stadium is limited to holders of official South Alabama parking passes, which are available only to season ticket holders and not to single-game ticket buyers. Accessible parking is available at the stadium for fans with disabilities.

Other parking is available near the stadium, but those areas are not controlled or patrolled by the university, Ladd-Peebles Stadium or the city of Mobile. Fans are encouraged to park at Bel Air Mall, south of Target and J.C. Penney, and ride The Wave shuttle for $2.50 per person round trip. Shuttles will begin running at 10:30 a.m. and continue for 90 minutes after the game ends.

South Alabama is playing its first season of Sun Belt Conference football.
