MOBILE, Ala. — The Sun Belt Conference women’s soccer championship begins Wednesday on the South Alabama campus, with the host Jaguars entering as the top seed.
South Alabama (16-2-1, 8-0-1 Sun Belt) earned the No. 1 seed by winning the regular-season title. The Jaguars bring a 15-match unbeaten streak into the tournament and finished conference play with 25 points, seven more than any other team.

Championship: Sunday, Nov. 9
The title match is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday and will be broadcast on ESPN3. All times are Central.
South Alabama is the defending Sun Belt tournament champion. The tournament is being played at The Cage, the Jaguars’ on-campus soccer facility.
