MOBILE, Ala. — Seven members of South Alabama’s 2012-13 softball team were named All-America Scholar-Athletes by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association on Monday.

The Honorees

The Jaguars recognized were:

  • Alex Breeden

Players are nominated by an NFCA member coach and must have posted a grade-point average of 3.50 or higher during the 2012-13 academic year.

It is the fourth time since the program began in 2007 that South Alabama has had seven players receive the award in a single year.
