TROY, Ala. — No. 12 South Alabama softball pushed its winning streak to 10 games with a 9-1 victory over in-state Sun Belt Conference rival Troy on Wednesday evening.
The Jaguars improved to 26-3 overall and 4-0 in Sun Belt play.
Offense Wakes Up After Slow Start
South Alabama did not record a hit through the first three innings. Over the next four innings, the Jaguars scored nine runs on nine hits.

Troy’s only run came after Kacie McAllister tripled, the first triple South Alabama pitching had allowed all season. McAllister scored on a sacrifice by Erica Davis.
