Coastal Alabama Community College’s Thomasville campus welcomed a fresh group of incoming students this week during its Advise and Thrive orientation program.
Advise and Thrive functions as the college’s freshman orientation, giving new students a chance to learn about campus resources, meet one-on-one with academic advisors and register for fall classes before the semester begins.
Campus Director Marcus Gordon said the sessions are built to help students step into their college experience with the information and support they need to succeed. He noted that the Thomasville campus saw a strong turnout for the event.
One more Advise and Thrive session remains ahead of the fall term, scheduled for July 29 with sessions offered at 10 a.m. and noon. Students interested in attending can register through the college’s website at CoastalAlabama.edu.
