Spring 2016 brought a wealth of Mobile-area businesses serving crawfish, some free with a purchase and others not. This guide helped Mobilians track locations and times, with updates as mudbug season continued.
LoDa and Downtown
LoDa Biergarten offered crawfish Mondays at 6 p.m. with a $10 minimum purchase, while O’Dalys Irish Pub started Tuesdays at 6 p.m. on April 5. Montego’s served Wednesdays at 6 p.m., Hayley’s on Thursdays with karaoke after, Saddle Up Saloon on Sundays, and The Garage on Sundays at 5 p.m. The Merry Widow hosted Sundays at 5 p.m. with a self-serve Bloody Mary bar and H.O.R.S.E. tournament.
Midtown, West Mobile and Beyond
Midtown spots included Kimberly’s Midtown Bar and Silver Horse Pub on Thursdays. WeMo options ranged from Runway Billiards on Mondays to Crooked Martini and Midnight Rodeo on Thursdays. Tillman’s Corner’s Patches Lounge served Thursdays, and Fairhope offered Plow, Strick’s Place, Gumbo Shack and the Old 27 Grill Crawfish Wagon on weekends.
Across the Bay
Daphne locations included Top of the Bay, Pour Nelson’s, Manci’s Antique Club, Bayhouse Pub and Champy’s, while Spanish Fort’s Beef ‘O Brady’s served Wednesdays. With so many options, locals had little excuse to miss crawfish season.
