Neighbors along Frazier Street in Ferry Pass are upset after waking up to find their vehicles and property covered in black spray paint.
The vandalism was discovered Tuesday morning along the stretch near the intersection of North Davis Highway and East Olive Road. Walking the street, residents pointed to paint on cars, mailboxes, a fence and the back of a stop sign.
The charge for the crime would be criminal mischief. In Florida, that carries penalties ranging from about 60 days in jail up to five years, depending on the cost of the damage, along with fines between $250 and $1,000.
Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to contact the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.
