According to an MPD news release, officers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation Friday, Aug. 21, but the driver refused to stop.
The vehicle finally came to a stop on Cedar Street where two juveniles got out and ran. A third juvenile was detained at the scene and taken to Strickland Youth Center after a firearm was found in the car.
