According to an MPD news release, officers were called to the 900 block of Bernice Hudson Drive just before 12:45 a.m. Aug. 24, in reference to a home invasion.
When officers arrived, they found a male with injuries, according to the release. He was taken to a local hospital.
During the investigation, officers learned that another male and a female were at the victim’s home when they allegedly physically assaulted him.
Additionally, the suspects allegedly refused to let the victim and two other people leave the home.
