The Mobile Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating Douglas Myers Withers, an 89-year-old white man who officers believe may be living with a condition that could affect his judgement.
Withers was last seen around 9:00 a.m. on July 22, 2026, in the area of Airport Boulevard in Mobile. Investigators believe he is driving a silver 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage displaying Alabama license plate A2Y5N0.
Authorities are urging anyone who spots Withers, his vehicle, or has any information about his whereabouts to come forward immediately. Given his age and possible impaired judgement, officials consider this a time-sensitive public safety matter.
