Update, Aug. 7: Jaelyn Tyler was found safe at approximately 11 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, according to the Mobile Police Department. “Thank you all for your participation and dedication,” the department said in a release, crediting the public for its help finding her.
MOBILE, Ala. — The Mobile Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a missing teenager considered missing and endangered, according to MPD.
Police identified the teen as 16-year-old Jaelyn Tyler. According to an MPD news release, Tyler was last seen around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, in the 5000 block of Government Boulevard.
MPD described Tyler as approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing around 108 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink bonnet, a white long-sleeved shirt and a pink sweatshirt, according to police.
Officers said Tyler is known to frequent the Grand Bay and Irvington areas.
