RuffWater Brings Halloween Night Music to T.P. Crockmier’s

Downtown Mobile’s Halloween crowd has a soundtrack this year: RuffWater, the long-running Bay Minette band, plays T.P. Crockmier’s on Dauphin Street Friday, October 31 from 8 p.m. to midnight, with a return engagement already booked for November 8.
The band’s history with the venue goes back decades. “RuffWater has been playing at T.P. Crockmiers since we got together in 1998,” bandleader Michael RuffWater said. “Crockmiers had always been the number 1 place in Mobile for bands to be heard.” He credits the club with helping the group step up to the next level, calling its food, drinks and atmosphere a draw for music fans of all ages.
Crockmier’s keeps the music coming through November, with Special Delivery on November 7 and Kyle and Karl on November 1, 14 and 15. Long known for supporting local musicians through open-mic nights and special events, the bar’s newer location puts live acts in the middle of the Dauphin Street action, alongside the drink specials and kitchen fare that built its reputation.
About the band’s hometown
Bay Minette, where RuffWater got its start, is the county seat of Baldwin County, north of the Eastern Shore across Mobile Bay from downtown Mobile.
