A semi-truck flipped off Interstate 110 in Pensacola on a recent Wednesday afternoon, crashing through a concrete guardrail before landing in a grassy area below an overpass on the northbound lanes, according to the Pensacola Fire Department.
Firefighters said the driver lost control of the truck, which went over the guardrail and fell to the ground below. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and there were no injuries reported. Firefighters said the driver was able to walk away from the wreck.
Photos released by the Pensacola Fire Department showed the truck resting on its side beneath the overpass, with visible damage to the interstate structure. The Florida Department of Transportation said it was assessing the extent of the damage to the road following the crash.
