MOBILE, Ala. — South Alabama’s full 2015 football schedule, including dates for all Sun Belt Conference games, has been released by the university and the conference office. The Jaguars also announced the start of spring practice and the date of the annual Red-Blue Spring Game.
Dates had previously been set only for South Alabama’s non-conference games. The Jaguars knew their Sun Belt opponents but not when they would play them.
Two National TV Home Games
South Alabama will play two home games on the ESPN family of networks. The Jaguars host Arkansas State on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at 8 p.m. on ESPN2, and Louisiana-Lafayette on Thursday, Nov. 12, on ESPNU.
Kickoff times for the remaining games have not been set.

Eight of South Alabama’s 12 opponents posted winning records last season. Georgia Southern, Louisiana-Lafayette and Nebraska each won nine games.
Spring Practice
The Jaguars open spring practice Monday, March 16, the first of 15 workouts over four weeks. A full spring practice schedule will be released before drills begin.
Red-Blue Game Highlights Busy Weekend
The Red-Blue Spring Game is scheduled for noon Saturday, April 11, at Ladd-Peebles Stadium. The same day, South Alabama softball hosts Georgia Southern at 1 p.m. at Jaguar Field, and the baseball team hosts Appalachian State at 6:30 p.m. at Eddie Stanky Field.
Joey Jones, who has coached South Alabama since the program began play in 2009, led the Jaguars to their first bowl game, the Raycom Media Camellia Bowl, last December.
