MOBILE, Ala. — South Alabama held its final practice Thursday before the annual Red-Blue Spring Game, which kicks off at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
Final Tune-Up
The Jaguars worked in full pads for about two hours. The session centered on situational football, including first-, second- and third-down situations, red zone work and two-minute drills. The team also worked on kickoff coverage and returns.
Before the situational period, the Jaguars ran inside run drills and 7-on-7 skeleton passing drills. The defense continued installing coverages and blitz packages, and every position group had time for individual skill work.
Spring Game Details
Rosters for the two spring game teams are expected to be set later this week. The game is open to the public, and parking at Ladd-Peebles Stadium is free.
