South Alabama Hosts Southern Miss in Mitchell Center Doubleheader, Seeking Fourth Straight Win

MOBILE, Ala. — The South Alabama Southern Miss men’s basketball matchup headlines a doubleheader at the Mitchell Center on Wednesday, Dec. 7, as the Jaguars put a three-game winning streak on the line against the Golden Eagles.

The women’s team opens the evening against the Spring Hill College Badgers at 5:05 p.m. The men’s game will tip off 30 minutes after the women’s game ends, with the start listed at approximately 7:05 p.m.

Jaguars Chasing Fourth Straight Win

Head coach Ronnie Arrow’s team enters the game looking for a fourth consecutive victory. The Jaguars are led by forward Augustine Rubit, who was selected as the Sun Belt Conference Preseason Player of the Year.

Southern Miss, a Conference USA program located in Hattiesburg, Miss., makes the trip to Mobile for the nonconference meeting between the two Gulf Coast schools.

Tickets and Promotions

Tickets start at $5, and a single ticket is good for admission to both games of the doubleheader. The athletic department is offering $1 hot dogs from 4 to 7 p.m.
