MOBILE, Ala. — Families in midtown Mobile got a head start on the school year Saturday as 3 Circle Church held its annual Back-to-School Bash, giving away backpacks filled with school supplies.
The event ran from 10 a.m. at the church’s South Sage Avenue campus and offered more than supplies. Representatives from area service organizations were on hand to connect families with assistance programs, and children took part in activities throughout the morning.
Pastor Micah Gaston said the bash is designed to bridge the gap between families in need and the community organizations that can help them, giving every family a chance to move toward a brighter future.
