Bond Set for Man Accused of Kidnapping 18-Year-Old From Outside Mobile Nightclub
Bond was set for Morris Linson Jr., accused of kidnapping an 18-year-old from outside Troubadours Country Saloon in Mobile.
Bond has been set for the man accused of kidnapping an 18-year-old woman from outside a Mobile nightclub.
According to court records, Morris Linson Jr. received a $30,000 bond on the second-degree kidnapping charge and $7,500 on a breaking-and-entering charge. He was arrested in Escambia County, Florida, and transferred to Mobile County Metro Jail on Thursday.
Linson is accused of taking the teenager from outside Troubadours Country Saloon last Friday night. She was later located at the University of South Alabama, where authorities found her.
The charges
In Alabama, second-degree kidnapping is a Class B felony, which carries a possible prison sentence of two to 20 years upon conviction. Linson has only been charged, and the allegations have not been proven in court.
