Chase Bank will open its first-ever branch in Foley on Tuesday, Aug. 18, with a ribbon-cutting and grand opening celebration scheduled for 10:30 a.m. at the new location, 2400 S. McKenzie Street.
The opening is part of Chase’s broader plan to triple its branch network in Alabama by 2030, growing to 35 total branches statewide and creating more than 170 new jobs in the process. Company officials say the new Foley branch will bring expanded access to banking, lending and wealth management services to the area.
Kaitlin Phillips will serve as the branch manager. She is expected to be joined at the opening event by Foley Mayor Ralph Hellmich and Chase Market Director Paulo Marques.
Update: The Foley branch is also Chase’s first location in Coastal Alabama, and it marks the bank’s 16th branch statewide as it continues its Alabama expansion. Chase says additional branches are expected to open by the end of the year in Mobile, Daphne, Montgomery, Decatur and Huntsville. “Investing in Foley allows Chase to be there and meet our neighbors face-to-face during life’s biggest moments – buying a car, a home, starting a business or planning for their kids’ education,” said Kaitlin Phillips, Chase vice president and branch manager in Foley. “We are expanding to drive a stronger economy all across Alabama.”
About Chase’s Alabama expansion
JPMorganChase, the nation’s largest bank, announced in February 2025 that it planned to open 24 new branches in Alabama and hire more than 170 employees by 2030, tripling its footprint in the state. The expansion is part of a broader push by the bank to build branches in markets across the country where it previously had little or no retail presence.
