Stand-up comedian Sean Patton brings his act to Alchemy Tavern in downtown Mobile on Saturday, June 22, arriving on a notable wave of momentum: his Comedy Central Half Hour special airs just the night before, Friday, June 21.
Patton, a New Orleans native who came up in that city’s comedy scene before basing himself in New York and Los Angeles, has built a resume spanning some of the country’s best-known rooms, including Caroline’s, the Comedy Cellar, Gotham, and the Improv, along with appearances at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2011 and Montreal’s Just for Laughs festival in 2008 and 2010. Television credits include Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and Conan.
The Alchemy Tavern bill also features a slate of regional comics, with Andrew Polk, Tony Burkett, Cris Fowler, Kevin Saucier, and Jamie Arrington rounding out the lineup.
Tickets for the 9 p.m. show are $10 at the door.
