Mobile County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man wanted in connection with a string of commercial thefts across the area.
The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office said deputies spotted Shannon Jordan, 40, driving a vehicle known to belong to a suspect in the theft series — which included building materials taken from job sites — and took him into custody Thursday afternoon at a self-service car wash off Theodore Dawes Road.
Jordan was particularly wanted for stealing a utility trailer carrying tools valued just under $10,000. Authorities described him as having an extensive history of theft- and drug-related arrests.
